The high quality carbon block filter found in the Tap Master Jr. uses 100% coconut shell carbon in its construction to produce better tasting drinking water than the competitors' coal based carbon filters. The unique structure found in our carbon filters is well suited to absorb chemicals. The 5 micron filter found in the Tap Master Jr. provides 99.9% particulate reduction at 5 microns and features a special 15 micron prefiltration wrap to promote long filter life. The Tap Master Jr. will filter 2,500 gallons of water, or 1 year before a filter change becomes necessary
